Workshop program 2008

PETA has announced its 2008 National Professional Learning Program. The program has been designed to help you improve your students’ literacy outcomes and stay abreast of current developments and thinking by offering up-to-date practical language and literacy teaching and learning ideas for the classroom.

The 2008 program features topics and speakers in the following areas:

  • Assessment 
  • Literacy
  • Reading
  • Thinking Skills
  • Writing

A variety of Full-day and afternoon workshops are included in the 2008 program. 

A Full-day workshop commences with registration at 8.30 am and the learning program promptly at 9.00am. Course costs are inclusive of learning materials, venue, catering and GST. Normally Morning Tea is scheduled for 10.30 am and Lunch at 12.30pm with the workshop concluding at 3.00 pm.

An afternoon workshop program commences with registration at 4.00pm and the learning program promptly at 4.30 pm. Course costs are inclusive of learning materials, venue, catering and GST. A substantial afternoon tea is provided in order to ensure optimum learning is achieved.
