What’s your story?
Primary English Teaching Association in partnership with CAL (Copyright Agency Ltd) has developed a training program for new authors who are interested in working in schools as a way of supporting teachers to promote an interest in reading and writing and develop the skills of their students.

Special Forever
Special Forever is an environmental communication program that is managed by Primary English Teaching Association under contract to the Murray-Darling Basin Commission since 1993.

Writers in Schools

River Literacies 
This collaborative Australian Research Council project was undertaken by Primary English Teaching Assocation, Charles Sturt University and the University of South Australia investigating the kinds of literacies associated with the Special Forever program.

Teacher as Designer 
This joint initiative between the Le@rning Federation, Primary English Teaching Association and Common Ground developed a number of integrated units of work available for download the Teaching resources section of this website.

University Liaison Program
A program to maintain contact with key educators working with undergraduate and postgraduate students in Australia. The aim is to promote the benefits of belonging to a professional association such as Primary English Teaching Association.
